E-commerce Internship in Shanghai – FMCG Interns Needed

Our services cover China market entry consulting and digital strategy development for brands and E-Commerce retailers, website & online shop and T-Mall store development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing PPC (SEM), banner display advertisement/digital media buying & planning, social media marketing strategy & coordination, email marketing, SMS marketing and web analytics services. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The new Intern will join our Business Intelligence Team and will be involved in the company’s projects through multiple services to new and existing clients.
Working for us means acquiring a wide range of digital marketing knowledge practicing with concrete working experiences in real projects:

  • Business Proposal for potential clients including Chinese market analysis and potentialities, case study, competitors benchmarking and SWOT analysis;
  • Monthly reports for actual clients including monitoring competitors’ price and campaign strategies, digital marketing tactics adopted and data metrics (SEM);
  • Content Development for blogging on Chinese e-commerce and digital marketing;
  • Social Media Marketing: campaign monitoring and proposal development.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support internal teams to execute marketing and e-commerce management;
  • Develop marketing strategies for foreign brands that are interested to enter the Chinese market or who are already in China and want to improve their digital solutions. Some of our clients are fortune 500 companies.

EXPECTATIONS:

Our Consulting analysts are expected to learn about:
• Chinese online platforms;
• Taobao, Tmall and Baidu data mining/analysis;
• Market opportunities in China;
• Presentation skills;
• Multitask and prioritize tasks according to deadline;
• Communication and teamwork.

 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  • A better understanding of the Chinese culture and market;
  • Learn about the specific online platforms in China, that are not well known by western companies;
  • A chance to work in a company with foreign leading brands in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
  • Previous experiences: Previous experiences in digital marketing and e-commerce can be helpful but are not required.

Academic, extra-curricular, or professional background in any of the following fields:
• Marketing, PR, Digital Marketing, E-commerce;
• IT (for IT Consulting analysts, we have a specific Job Description);
• Journalism;
• International Business, History, Geography etc.
